Most states are require a 3 warning rule prior to firing. Did you notify them each time why you couldn't work? Were there doctor's notices of your back pain or your chronic depression? You cannot just say "I am too depressed to work today " and expect that there will be no repercussions. If your doctor said you could go to work, then you should have gone. If they are trying to keep you on until the end of the month, I think they are genuinely trying. The application for disability will take a doctor's agreement that you cannot work. |
