I've never been on unemployment before. When I'm doing my taxes, do I include the amount of unemployment as income and what about if I have the taxes already taken out of each payment made to me? Does this change if I file for unemployment for the whole year?

I got fired today for missing too much work. I suffer from chronic depression, back pain had one surgery and need another and endometriosis. I tried to work as much from home as possible and was never told I couldn't do that until today.My state requirements for unemployment are that workers are eligible if they are let go " through no fault of their own." They said they are " trying" to keep me on the payroll through the end of the month.Do you think I could apply for unemployment? What about disability?

How long do I want to find out if I'm eligible for an extension on unemployment?
I live in CA and I have been on unemployment for a few months. It's about to run out and they said it automatically files for extension after the full amount runs out. I'm doing everything to find work but honestly can't. Does anyone know how long it takes after that last check to know if you get the extension? I'm really worried about not being able to pay bills and and trying to figure out how long I will end up waiting. Would like to hear from someone who's done it. Thanks
