How long does it take to get approved for unemployment in Pa.?
I was fired from my job. My AB date is 7 25 10 and todays date is 9 1 10. I received a letter in the mail from the UC on 8 4 10 saying that I need to file my biweekly claims and the apeal date is 8 18 10 for the employer or myself...so how much longer will I have to wait to get my first check?...or to know if I got approved? Thanks Yes, I filed twice for four weeks total and I'll file again this sunday, making 6 weeks total. I did call Pat, no one answers...you can only leave a call back number and they will return the call at any time durning the day. I missed the call twice already.I also, filed my ap. on 7 31 10

I was fired from wells fargo for not having some customers signatures on deposit slips.. it was so hard for me to remember to have them sign, i was always worried about making sure they endorsed theyre check and i would forget about having them sign the deposit slip, but anyways i got a writtin warning about it the begining of august and i ended up getting fired for it on the 26th, but i didnt intentionally forget to have customers sign. am i going to qualify for unemployment for getting discharged for this reason? i am rehirable at wells fargo

I just quit a job that I've been working at for a year and a half that I really hate. So I signed up for an employment agency called AppleOne. They said it will be a little harder for them to find a job for me since I only have three months of office experience. Yeah i'm out on a back injury from work & doc says it's gonna be a few months of rehab. I have applied for partial unemployment because I work part time. This is because of the economy. How does this affect my ability to find a full time job? I mean do employers consider this in their hiring process? It is obvious me collecting partial unemployment will show on some record. Will it be negative?

I worked at this job for almost a year, and we got this new head manager an he was making a comment about the pants i was wearing. He stuck his hand in my pocket and started to rub my pants and he made me feel very very uncomfortable an violated. It made the work environment very uncomfortable for me to work in so i quit. I was hired for 36 hours week full time . I work in a hospital in the ICU...when we have a low of patients, I am sent home and put on call, or even told some days not to come in. It has been happening a lot lately, this week I only worked 18 hours. I do get paid $2.25 hour while I am home because I am " on call" , but it is definitely not enough to live on when work is slow......could I get unemployment for the hours I am on call??
So I won my unemployment hearing, do I get what I'm owed?
I had a part time job since 2004. I started working a full time job in 2008 until I got laid off in 2009. I was able to collect unemployment benefits from the full time job while still working at the part time job. I recently quit the part time job in June and unemployment stoped paying me benefits because I made myself unemployed. I went to the hearing and then got a letter last week saying that the decision was over turned and that I wasnt at fault for leaving the job and I can still collect. So, they stoped paying me the roughly around the week of June 26th and I just got a direct deposit this past Friday from them. Do they owe me all that money from June 26th until this recent payment since the decision was over turned?
Unemployment Question?
I just received a letter from ODJFS, they want to do a phone interview for benefit accuracy measurement inspection of unemployment claims. They want contacts and phone numbers for a particular week ending, I don't keep records of who I contact since I am seeking work through a temp service and I let them find jobs that are suitable for me and tell them of the job that I interested in and to send my resume to that company for a chance at an interview. What should I tell them when they ask for contacts for that week ending? How will that effect my benefits?I am not employed by the temp service until they place me at a job.

Hello,I have been living and working in NJ for approximately the last 9 years. I switched jobs about 1.5 months ago, and started working at a NY based company.
