The new owner of Raleigh-based RBC Bank (USA) is planning to shed more than 600 jobs in North Carolina when the purchase is complete.

Layoffs loom as PNC, RBC merge
They will only say there will be layoffs but some of those positions aren’t filled. Other employees will be offered other jobs at the company. The layoffs will come in March, after PNC will officially acquire RBC.
