Morgan Stanley announced in a public filing on Tuesday it would make 580 layoffs in its first quarter.

Wall Street Layoffs Continue, Morgan Stanley To Cut 1600 Jobs

The most recent cuts won’t affect the firm’s 17000 financial advisors though a company spokesperson says there will be “some other positions eliminated in wealth management” as part of the total 1600 layoffs.
