I was receiving unemployment for about a year now. I got a new job, worked at it for 1 month and got laid off?
last week. I made about $2500 for the month I worked. Can i receive unemployment now or not? If so, How much would it be? How do I calculate the amount I will be receiving?

I was out sick from work for a long time but not eligible for FMLA, was I laid off, discharged, fired or what?
I was in the hospital for little over two months and when I got back my position was filled, my employer knew I was in the hospital so its not like I neglected to inform anyone. Is this considered being fired, discharged, laid off and why? And was there anything I could have done in that situation? I was not eligible for FMLA because I was one month short of the 1 year and under the required hours.

Hi,I've been working for my company for about 4 years. I've recently been passed over for a number of promotions despite being told that I would receive them, and it's becoming abundantly clear that, though I'm still a good employee, it's going to be impossible for me to have the future here that I want. My bosses respect me and know that I'm very frustrated by being passed over for the promotions, and they also know that I haven't necessarily been treated fairly in the process. Additionally, I'd like to take some time off and pursue another field. Can I ask to be laid off? I'm not as concerned with getting a severance though it would be nice but more being able to apply for unemployment.
How do I fix my resume after I've been laid off?
I worked for a sub contractor and then was let go when the contract was bought. I was out of job for about 2 weeks then got hired by the new company. I still have the same job title but the name on my pay check is different.

So I was laid off from work due to lack of work in January. Ever since then I have been receiving unemployment benefits and applying to I worked and I was wondering, how long do I have to wait before I can just ask for my severance? I want to do this because I feel that my boss isn't planning on calling me back to work ever seeing as how she told me that I would be back to work in February and it never happened. If you get laid off from your job, how long more are your health benefits supposed to last?
I just got laid off from my job at UPS and the rule with the company is you have to work 60 hours the previous month to qualify for health dental insurance. I did a great job there and there is a chance they could hire me back in a week or two, but in the meantime, are my medical benefits still valid for another month since I worked 60 hours last month? Or do they cease immediately because I've been " laid off?"

I'm the non custodial parent who is currently laid off w out insurance whose kids 2ndary insurance refuses to pay. I have always had health insurance along with paying child support, however since being laid off I have not had health insurance on them, but manage to pay support with unemployment benefits. My ex husband said his insurance who is the kids 2ndary insurance provider is now calling him about payment and are refusing to pay anything demanding I get health insurance per Divorce decree court order as they will not cover. Again, Im not working and havent had luck finding anything so I started going to school. I thought since there is no longer a primary, the secondary will kick in? I understand it was in a COURT ORDER I provide it, but I have no job but do pay the support. is there any way around this so his ins. will cover the medical? He gave me his ins.info to call them to get this squared away. Which I have spoken to them in the past and provided my unemplyment info. They want my current husband to add them to his insurance now since I've remarried and my spouse has insurance? Please help, I dont see why the 2ndary wont cover the medical fees till I get insurance since I'm suppose to be primary per divorce decree... i've tried Daily at that but havent landed anything. 1 second ago
