Yale Student finding job search hard?
k I'm currently A student of Yale University, I fly from Toronto Canada to attend class 5 days a week and every other weekend in New Haven Connecticut . I currently have a part time job as a CSR which I know is kinda a weird sounding. I'm looking for a job that will produce greater experience in my chosen field. We have spoken about this in class and Yale does offer placement programs and what not, However I would like this job to be in Toronto Canada. Since I will be getting my BA in a Few months and will need to do One year of corporate work before I can return to Yale for me MBA.The issue is that I'm very shy and don't really know how to go about this in Canada.I have never really worked corporate before, well except for interning at Intel and OMD worldwide a few times which have both been done in the US. Can I put them on my Canadian Resume? Is there any site where I can find work in Canada?using what I already have? As I don't want to put my current job down as it is not exactly what most if any other Ivy league students do part time as work.p.s. please forgive any typos this was typed on my phone.

Best job searching site?
I am trying to search for a career but not really sure which site is best for US residents. Can someone help point me in the right direction?

Difficult job search situation... what to do?
I just got back from doing a TEFL course, now I have my TEFL certificate and I'm dying to go abroad and teach English, OR go back to Texas and do my K 12 certification there. The problem is, that either of these options requires that I have a substantial amount of money saved up. Right now I have a crummy job, and I need to find a decent one. Not instead of Tefl or getting my teacher certification in Texas the only part of the United States I would consider living in . I've been substitute teaching, and I HATE it. People say things like, " Be grateful you have a job..." but I'm so sick of throwing my life away in such a CRAPPY job. Subbing sucks It's so depressing to go to a job where you'll be treated like shit all day. Administrators treat you like shit, kids treat you like shit all day, and you never get a simple thank you, just treated like dog crap all day and you get paid nickels and dimes. Administrators and permanent teachers have this high and mighty snotty attitude that you're their little bitch and they'll verbally shove your nose in shit. It's cruel and inhumane to shove a dog's nose in shit, let alone a person's but the treatment I've gotten is the verbal equivalent of shoving my nose in shit. I'll get all worked up if I think about it. My mom says that I need to get a " bridge job" and she thinks that I am just not trying. By " bridge job" she means " a decent job that will pay me fairly and provide benefits until I save enough money to move abroad." I DID find a part time job I don't start until April, though. Part of me is grateful for it but it means long hours. My mom urged me to make a list of places to apply for a decent full time job, and I promised my mom that I would do that. I'm stuck, and so lost, though. I have a BA in Spanish and I speak perfect Spanish and I have a TEFL certificate. I don't think I'm qualified for a decent job other than TEFL. On top of everything else, we live in a crummy town and there is NO opportunity here I realize that 80 % of jobs aren't advertised publicly, they're obtained through networking. Is there any decent job " bridge job" as my mom calls it that I'm qualified for? And, how do I go about searching for it?What are some places or channels to search for jobs? If you can help me, thank you. I can accept an honest answer but if you have a nasty comment, please don't waste your time because I don't need to hear it.Thanks if you can help

Do job search sites have any requirements to find people jobs?
It seems like career builder, monster, and other commercial jobs sites have no quotas to answer or pressing need to find people jobs. If they get the hits on the sites the advertisers will pay anyway right? Or am I wrong?
