How do I find a job as a phlebotomist?
Hi everyone.I'm planning to get a phlebotomy certification in San Diego, hopefully next month. However, I found out that all hospitals are asking at least one year phlebotomy experience. I do not have much experience in healthcare. So, what should I do in order to increase my chance to be hired as a phlebotomist? If I become a volunteer in a hospital, will it help me to get a job? Is there any other options or alternative ways that I can do so that an employer considers to hire me?

I cannot find a job!?
I graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Special Education about four years ago. Now I am going for my Master's Degree... I cannot find a job in the pay scale I need Right now I'm working somewhere and I'm being walked on all over by my " superiors," who are trying to go to school for their Associates Degree so they can move up in the company. I do not do a bad job in my current position, in fact I've been complemented several times, but I feel like I was laughed at when I told my boss I would like to move up to the empty position at the same corporation in a different town. Ever since I told my boss about the position, my boss has been " knit picking" at all of the wrong things my boss can find... like dust under my cabinets. I really need to move up to the position I feel I deserve to have with my experience and credentials. I have kids, a home, bills and student loans I need to make every month and I need to make more money I only make about $20,000 , and I cannot be walked on anymore. I bite my tongue a lot and it hurts every day.Maybe I'm just venting, but any comments or input would be greatly appreciated.
