Well, everyone works differently, but I work best by getting a book from the library, or a bookstore, or even borrowing one, reading it, and just trying it out on my own. You can hire a tutor, use a book, online tutorials, ask others you know who are programmers to help, etc.

It really depends on what type of job you are doing. Phone based jobs like telemarketing, customer service or order taking may require some specific phone equipment, an additional phone line and a computer that meets certain specs. There are over 65% scams claiming to be legit 11 months ago i worked hard at the end to findout they are all scams e.g projectpayday.com,cashfiesta.com,aglocomails etc. Finally i now receive checks each months. Research, research, and oh, ya- research. It took me three years of research to find a legit company. I researched through hundreds of companies (not sure how many as so many change their names from week to week). I found three companies with decades of experience, that had all kept their original names, most had not changed their domain ever. I called each and spoke to people- not recordings, looked at their addresses, Google Earth-ed their addresses and looked at their buildings, looked in business magazines and read about their business plans, and looked them up on the BBB web site. I feel very confident in the three- so I picked one and ran with it. The other thing you need to do is guard your SSN- contact the three main credit agencies and do what they suggest to protect your identity. Good software protection for your computer too. Expect to pay something- remember that these companies get asked all the time for their packets to WFH and those things cost money, and just about 90% of the people that contact a WFH opportunity will do nothing with it, so they need to recover their loses. You want to make sure you have free support and training- something that I find is vital to me as I am not a salesmen. A business plan- very important. Ethics in the company's standards- do they want you to lie? Do they discourage dishonesty? Will they ask you to leave if you lie about what they provide? I rather prefer to think honesty is the best policy as does the company I work with. I hope that helps, if you need more assistance or what have you email me and I will see what I can do to help.
